12-storey affordable apartments coming up in Bandar Saujana Putra

More Selangor residents will be able to own their dream home, thanks to the smart partnership between property developer LBS Bina Group Berhad and the state government.

The Rumah Selangorku Bandar Saujana Putra has five blocks of 12-storey apartments offering 1,312 affordable residential units. There are also 24 shop units.

The selling price of the units are RM150,000 and RM180,000 for 800sq ft and 900sq ft respectively,

The total gross development value of the project is RM228mil.

Sitting in a location where there is easy and direct access to major commercial hubs in the Klang Valley, it is no wonder the project is attractive to many first-time housebuyers.

LBS Bina Group Berhad managing director Datuk Seri Lim Hock San said the company was happy to partner with the Selangor government on the programme.

“We believe this Rumah Selangorku project in Bandar Saujana Putra will enable more first-time buyers to realise their dream of owning a house,” he said in his welcome speech.

Bandar Saujana Putra is a mature township that offers residents convenient access to education, commercial and leisure establishments in the form of schools, recreational parks, shopping centres and hypermarkets.

“Decent, affordable and secure homes are fundamental to family and community life. This has propelled LBS to do everything we can to ensure this project provides opportunities for Malaysians to have a home that is not only strategically located, comfortable and at the same, a valuable asset to the family,” said Lim.

Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali, who launched the Rumah Selangorku project, said the Selangor government aimed to launch at least 20,000 affordable residential units in two years’ time to meet demand.

“The response is overwhelming. We have received more than 40,000 applications.

“Although we cannot fulfil all 40,000, at least we can help half of them,” he added. - By The Star
