Rawang beckons

More affordable housing will be available in Rawang once Mah Sing Group Berhad’s Rumah Selangorku project is completed in May 2018.

The developer held a ground-breaking ceremony for the M Residence 2@Rawang project spread over 3.2ha in Bandar Tasik Puteri.

It will be a gated-and-guarded community. Among the amenities provided to the apartment residents are a surau, a multi-purpose hall and recreational space.

M Residence 2@Rawang is strategically located off Jalan Batu Arang and is a 10-minute drive from the Rawang toll plaza and just five minutes from Aeon Jusco.

At the launch, Mah Sing Group Bhd chairman Tan Sri Yaacob Mat Zain said the company had also allocated land in M Residence 2 for a primary school.

Also present at the launch in Rawang were Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali, Mah Sing Group Berhad Group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum, Housing, Building and Urban Settlers Committee chairman Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad, and Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) executive director Norzaton Aini Mohd Kassim.

Azmin commended Mah Sing Group Bhd on taking up the state government’s call to plan for more than 1,000 units of Rumah Selangorku in their Rawang projects.

“Mah Sing Group Bhd will build quality, comfortable homes at affordable prices to meet the high demand from low- and middle-income buyers working in urban areas. Ideally located, the houses will be a valuable asset for deserving families,” he said.

M Residence 2@Rawang is situated amidst healthy lifestyle features such as jogging tracks and clubhouse facilities.

Rawang is well-connected by road and rail and M Residence 2@Rawang residents stand to benefit from access to the Latar expressway when the extension from Jalan Tasik Puteri is completed, expected to be by end of this year.

This will cut residents’ travelling time to Kuala Lumpur city to about 20 minutes. It will also be an additional access from the main thoroughfare of Jalan Batu Arang to the townships.

KTM Rawang is the terminal station of KTM Komuter’s Rawang-Seremban route, now extended till Tanjung Malim.

Rawang is also served by public transport of buses that ply the Kuala Lumpur-Rawang route such as RapidKL, Metrobus and SJ Buses.
