London-themed Hyde Tower to be unveiled in i-City

I-Berhad, the master developer of i-City, will unveil the Hyde Tower, a residential tower with a view over the CentralPlaza@i-City Shopping Mall, by this February.

Hyde Tower, a 43-storey tower block with units ranging from 465 sq ft to 769 sq ft, will be fully fitted and furnished with metropolitan and contemporary London-themed interior design.

In a statement issued today, I-Berhad said Hyde Tower will have 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units as well as a choice of standard and duplex layouts, and is the only development on this parcel to offer dual-key units, which are only available on selected floors.

"In essence, Hyde Tower replicates the British essence of a more polished, distinguished and elegant feel while still maintaining the appeal of metropolitan London," it said.

Meanwhile, I-Berhad Group’s joint-venture company, Central Plaza i-City Real Estate Sdn Bhd, will commence works on its 1.5-million sq ft CentralPlaza@i-City shopping mall at i-City, Selangor.

The development is a 60:40 project between Thailand's leading retail property developer, Central Pattana Pcl (CPN) and I-Berhad.

Central Plaza i-City Real Estate has awarded Pintaras Jaya Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pintaras Geotechnics Sdn Bhd, on Jan 15, 2016 to undertake the piling and basement structural works for the proposed shopping mall.

The contract, valued at RM72.8 million, will start on Jan 18, 2016 with a completion period of 13 months.

Estimated at a gross development value of RM850 million, the shopping mall is expected to open by August 2018. - Bernama
