Developer to launch new tower


Property developer Mah Sing Group Berhad is launching Tower D of the final phase of its Lakeville Residence development in Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur.

Designed with a lakeside-living theme, Lakeville Residence spans across 5ha of land and has a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.5bil.

The development comprises 1,898 units of serviced residences within six blocks and 10 units of three- and four-storey retail shoplots or smart office versatile office (SoVo).

“Lakeville Residence’s prime location and well-thought-out concept has received very encouraging responses thus far, and we are confident the final phase will see similar momentum,” said Mah Sing executive director and chief executive officer Ng Chai Yong.

“We understand the importance of accessibility to our residents so Mah Sing has taken steps to improve the connectivity around the development,” he added.

Slated to be completed in 2018, Lakeville Residence is a planned development in the middle of the bustling city and is easily accessible via main roads and public transport.

The three-tier, security-guarded community is well connected via Jalan Ipoh, Jalan Kepong, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway and the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) with Kuala Lumpur’s city centre only about 15 minutes away.

Moreover, the KTM Komuter train service offers easy commuting into the city.

Mah Sing general manager Yeoh Chee Beng said the recently approved MRT Line 2 alignment located in close proximity to Lakeville Residence was also an added value to future residents.

“There is a proposed shuttle bus service to the MRT station for the residents’ convenience,” he said, adding that better connectivity would definitely result in property appreciation.

The link road to Kepong is currently at 70% completion and, together with the proposed link road to Tesco, commuting to nearby neighbourhoods will be even more convenient.

Future residents will get to enjoy the clubhouse facilities and a nature-themed facility podium, one of the largest sky parks in the city, which stands on 1.24ha of lush landscaping including 38 different points of view with 38 amenities to cater to all.

Tower D will be launched this weekend at Lakeville Residence Sales Gallery at Jalan Sibu, Taman Wahyu, from 10am to 6pm.
